Registrations and filing
Every state you hire in, registered.
Kreto works out what each state requires, files the registration from your record and tracks it to the state's confirmation.
What each state asks for.
Most states want a withholding account and an unemployment insurance account before the first paycheck. Some add paid leave, workers' comp or new-hire reporting. Kreto's rules cover all 51 jurisdictions; Kreto files once you approve. The rules span five requirement types: unemployment insurance, new-hire reporting, withholding, workers' comp and paid leave.
Where a state still wants paper.
Some state registrations are mail only. Kreto prepares those too and tracks them the same way.
Business licenses beside them.
Licenses tracked per company with their expiry dates.

Questions about registrations.
Does Kreto file the registration, or do I?
Kreto files it once you approve, and tracks it to the state's confirmation.
How long does a state take?
It depends on the state, and the agency sets it. Kreto shows each registration's status as it moves; it does not promise a date the state controls.
Is Kreto a registered agent?
No. Kreto files payroll tax and program registrations. It is not a registered agent and does not file annual reports.
