How do the two caps work?
Each tier caps two numbers independently: the states you operate in and the employees on payroll. You move up a tier when either cap is crossed — 4 states with 10 employees needs Growth, and 2 states with 150 employees needs Scale.
What counts as a state?
Any state where Kreto tracks registrations or obligations for you — your operating states. Adding a state mid-cycle simply counts against your cap; your tier only changes when you cross it.
What counts as an employee?
Any active W-2 employee or 1099 contractor imported from your payroll system or entered manually. Only employees active in the billing period count toward the cap.
How does annual billing work?
Pay annually and get 2 months free — you pay for 10 months and get 12 at your tier's rate.
What is concierge filing?
Kreto prepares your state registrations and tracks them end to end. When you want one filed, a Kreto specialist submits it on your behalf for $149 per filing, and you follow the status in your portal.
I'm coming from Mosey. What does switching cost?
Nothing to move in: the guided import of your states, registrations, tax account numbers, and portal credentials is free, and there is no implementation fee. Mosey charged one month's subscription to onboard; Kreto charges $0.
I'm already a Kreto customer. Does my price change?
No. Existing customers keep their current per-employee terms. The flat tiers apply to new signups.
We're a CPA firm managing employer clients — where's our pricing?
